About us

Whilst our main goal as a business is to make quality and innovative films, stage plays and TV productions. We also aim to use and build relationships with the local businesses through sourcing merchandise, costumes and props. By doing this we put money back into the community and help build a solid infrastructure.

Our scriptwriting workshop is for creative people to both train and nurture them in this area of the industry. Available to private individuals and other institutions, the workshop is currently Midlands and Northwest based as well as being available virtually. Other avenues of storytelling are also provided, with our academy currently making a screen-to-book adaptation of our future film, “Genuine Fakes”.

We intend to produce more books; stage plays and feature films as we grow.

Green Eye Productions Academy

Is the brainchild of Producer and Founder Julie Daly-Wallman. Whilst many children were years away from thinking about “career paths” Julie just knew that she wanted to make films.

She joined the film industry over 30 years ago starting as a runner and has since progressed, won awards, been elected a member of BAFTA worked with industry greats. Now is the time for a new approach to film making and Julie intends to lead the field with Green Eye Productions Academy.

From an early age, growing up on the Channel Islands a spark was ignited into a dream. This was to create and control a film company which was caring and had values to be proud of…

Over 30 years later having become immersed in the film industry – including both the knocks and the unforgettable experience of working for Marlon Brando and being tutored by the legendary Roger Corman, the dream is becoming a reality. Now as CEO, Producer and writer I have brought together a team with shared values and belief in our first feature film. “Genuine Fakes “ is on the cusp of starting to film.

Growing up on Jersey I knew a career in art and design was for me. Graduating from Birmingham University, working in design with household names such as Cadbury’s and later in the set design divisions of major broadcasters…

and production companies including Disney. I was always aligned to Julies’s vision. This has manifested itself in GEPA in which I am responsible for all set and associated design matters.

Before meeting Julie, I studied English Literature at Keele University and the thought of working in the film industry had never even crossed my mind. I unexpectedly entered the world of film production…

when I took a work placement module in my course that had Green Eye Productions Academy under its listings. From the outset, Julie has taken me under her guiding wing. Shortly after she accepted my application, we had an interview and I knew I wanted to work with her. Now, it has been seven months, including the hours I did for my module and I still love working with Julie and the rest of the team!

‘The thing I love about Julie’s management of GEPA is that I feel like she is always available, whether it be through call, text or email. Everything seems so organized, even when things are at a standstill. We’re always being productive. The favourite part of my job is reading the different scripts! Maybe it’s my love of English coming out but it makes me so excited to envision what the film will look like just by reading the things on paper!

Having grown up in the North West I started ascending the greasy corporate pole I developed a successful career dealing with HR matters in the finance sector. But after 10 years felt that the work life balance could be improved…

So goodbye nice corporate world and hello rural Ireland, horses and creating my own HR consultancy. A chance meeting with Julie on a flight and our subsequent conversations inspired me to offer Julie my experience in HR – now I am responsible for all matters HR within GEPA whilst learning more about the film industry and loving every minute.

I will support Julie as Producer throughout the film making process. I am currently writing new material for books and scripts for future films with GEPA. I am also creating spin-offs for the GF brand…

Julie has included me in the planning for the Genuine Fakes feature for over 15 years! I love the enthusiasm, determination and dedication that circulates within the GEPA Company.
